The traditional Shetland lace motif of the diamond can be used in so many ways in Shetland lace knitting but I wanted to create a shawl that showed off the beauty of the diamond in knitted lace.
As a knitted lace shawl the pattern is charted on each row. It is also on a garter base, which makes it fully reversible.
Tirl can be varied in size by changing the number of motifs and the pattern repeats to create the perfect size for you.
