Croos

£5.00

A steek in Shetland Lace knitting is a decorative line of yarn overs to create a division, mostly used within lace edging. Steeks, there are few different ones, give definition by outlining patterns and can also create sections within a large piece of lace.

I wanted to create a shawl, which featured one of the steeks as the main pattern so I designed this crescent shawl to show the beauty of the simple steek.

Croos is knitted on a garter base. This makes it a fully reversible lace shawl.

Finished size: 152cm x 50cm

The pattern has written instructions only.
