Roerwater Stole

£10.00

This stole is a fine Shetland lace version of my Roerwater Hap. It uses the same motifs and patterns but on a knitted lace base. This is when there is no rest row and is patterned on each row.

These two patterns are named after the Roerwater Loch in Northmavine, Shetland. It was a favourite place of my Grandfather to go for a walk to.

The stole is made in two sections and garter grafted together. The pattern includes the instructions of how to do this.

The lace edging is knitted on once you have picked up the stitches round the outside of the shawl. There are detailed instructions of how to knit around the corners and how to place your peaks so they occur in the correction position.

It is 175cm/69in long and 54cm/21in wide.
